My PS3 died two months before Heavy Rain's release.

I bought a 120gb slim, the day the demo hit the Playstation store. :D

Dear Agent.

My brain is hurting intensely, purely because you are still alive.

Yours sincerely,
Me.

Guess you don't know who I am, ChaosTroll, but I have a low post count, so I guess that doesn't matter... right? Even though I have multiple Ubi accounts (due to being banned in the nazi-mod Double Agent days), as well as an SCL account, totalling in thousands upon thousands of posts over the past 5 years... thought I'd let you know since you seem to care so much.

Oh hey, while we're talking about post counts... you better stop mouthing off like you know something, you '9 post' ass, and stop being a hypocritical fool.

Or is that too hard?

This thread reminds me of the Ubisoft forums.

Thanks guys.
The memories were not lost after all.

Where's the deadline? I'll let you know when we find it.
You guys should set one, is what I'm saying. Something to work toward.
Stop being a smart ass.

Okay, Comic... so you read my post.
But you sure as hell didn't understand it.

And Lennard, you could SAY that, but that's not a deadline, is it? A deadline is a set goal for the team to work toward. Give everyone a little motivation to get things moving a little quicker.

Not all deadlines can be met of course (look at Gran Turismo 5), but even if you can't quite meet the deadline set, if there's enough media releases to keep the people interested, then they'll be willing to wait without forgetting about the whole project.

Comic, you made it clear you didn't even read my post properly.

Thanks. :-*

"When it's done" isn't good, 'cause people tend to forget all about something and stop paying attention to it (as I have done with Black Mesa Source, with their "When it's done" attitude). Things never get done without some kind of deadline.

Even personal ones, as the one you mentioned Lennard.

It's good to keep the community interested in what you're doing, keep them looking forward to something rather than just sitting back and wondering what's going on/if it will ever be complete, 'cause nothing ever happens.

So, guys...
Mic told me in March on SCL; "TBH, we're pretty damn close with PS. I'd estimate just a few months out."

So I'm left wondering, it's now nearing the end of May... roughly how far off are you guys from producing a playable open-beta?

"When it's done" is not an acceptable answer.  :-*
