Well from all of what you just said was answered and considered selfish :/

Well, so far the only vision I have is the one that is the most supported, so it does make sense.

Reading this thread just makes me feel bad.

It began with an innocent question with a sarcastic example (the licking his ass part), and it got answered with a barrage of "well we don't trust you" and "this is mine, you no can haz". I understand the want to keep your assets private and probably nothing is going to change that, but it still sounds bad. (sounds, not IS)

What's been asked is obviously too much, but it is interesting. It would be cool to have custom "intros" to levels. Such as parachuting down onto the level, or say... a swimming entrance for spies on Lakehouse (dock... water.. swimming). Something that would make sense for the given level and explain HOW the spies got to their spawn (could be a video that just plays on the loading screen. Would be cooler looking than a big "LOADING" text deal in your face). If a person from the community (say someone making a map) could make a custom animation? Hell sounds like that someone making a map has even more fun stuff to do. (Making their OWN intro)

The talk of not wanting to be a developer seems to have been taken in the wrong direction though. I see puuu more saying he wants to be like a Mapper, not that he's trying to be selfish and "only do the work he wants to do".

In the end it: Sounds sad, IS asking too much, and IS a cool concept.
If you haven't noticed, I'm REALLY good at making a simple response into a wall of text.

Well, if he wants to be a mapper, why not apply to be one? Be environmental artist or whatever like Zedblade? He could actually pair up and make even better maps like Lakehouse.

Big THANK YOU to Cronky the master! Someone who managed second time to speak out my thoughts in a way better then I would.

DreadStunLock

Yes, but he still didn't really prove to developers why they would benefit from being able to have their game modded, there is still not enough. Well in my opinion at the very least, hopefully to see some green posts.

Look you want always your last word. Now "You listen! I talk" I'll be back with a puppet. Then we'll talk! Keep it in mind I don't need(want) another post from you on topic, pls.

This is talking as if the game is already released. The PS Editor will be out with the ability for anyone in the community (or so I assume) will be able to create maps.

If you are good at making maps or if you were good at making a animation of a spy parachuting down, then you should try out to be a dev and make the game better with your expertise. That much is true.

If you're the average user on the other hand that just wants to make something for fun, say me for instance, then I probably don't have much to offer that would be of help to anything dev-wise. That doesn't mean that I couldn't make something good though if given the right tools and the freedom to work on it on my own time.

That's the point of this whole thread. Would the average community member be able to create complex "mods" that could potentially add content to the game (if viewed by devs and accepted)? The answer is, other than maps, no.

As well as, I am sure Project Stealth would give a chance to apply as Junior in whatever position you want to be, so that can make the situation a lot more bearable.
